Who we are

Aurum Handy LLC ("Aurum Handy", "we") looks after homes in South Florida. This notice explains what we collect when you use this website or become a client, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• When you send a request: your name, email, phone number if you give one, the service you're interested in and anything you write in the notes. We also save how you found us, if your browser noted it during the visit: the page you arrived on, the name of the site that sent you, and the campaign name in the link (for example, from one of our postcards). Your browser keeps that only until you close the tab; it isn't a cookie.
• When you become a client: your home's address and details about the home and the visits we make, such as reports and photos of the work.
• When you write or talk to us: what you tell us, so we can follow up.
• When you visit the site: your internet address, briefly, to stop repeated automated submissions (see "Security"). We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
• Visit statistics: Vercel counts visits to our pages for us without cookies and without identifying you. We see totals such as how many people visited, which pages they viewed, which site sent them, their country and whether they used a phone or a computer.

How we use it

• To answer your request and to schedule, carry out and report on the work you ask for.
• To send you messages about your requests, visits and membership.
• To keep the records a business must keep, such as invoices.
• To protect the site and our clients from spam and abuse.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their advertising.

Who sees it

• Our team, who need it to do their work. Team members sign in to see client information, and administrators use two-step sign-in.
• Aurum Fresh and Aurum Stays, our sister businesses, don't use your information for their own purposes. Some of our team members also work for them; they use your information only for the work they do for Aurum Handy.
• The companies that run our systems for us, only to provide their service: Vercel (website hosting and visit statistics), Supabase (our database, in the United States) and Resend (sending email).
• Licensed specialists we coordinate for you, only with your agreement and only what they need for the job.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and client records for as long as we need them to serve you, and afterwards for as long as tax and business-records rules require. The internet addresses used for security are kept as a one-way code and deleted after two days.

Security

Information travels encrypted between your browser and us. Access to client information is limited to signed-in team members. To stop automated abuse of the request form, we record a one-way code made from your internet address, never the address itself, and delete it after two days.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you, and for a copy.
• Ask us to correct it, or to delete it when we no longer need to keep it.
• Ask us not to contact you for marketing. We'll note it and stop.

Write to us at the address below and we'll answer within 30 days.

Children

This site is for adults arranging care for their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
